I feel like I earned my Red Badge Courage by getting through that week. The book was great, but having to do three projects on one story seems excessive. I hope I didn't sound like Mr. Bad Atttude on my last paper, but I think I was starting to get a little frustrated. I'm back to my old happy self now. Bring on the Poetry Pod!
I had a bit of trouble finishing up on time as well. I barely got it all done and finished up a few points shy of the required 100. Between that, my other 2 classes, and a sick baby I was getting a bit frustrated by the end of last week too! I was SOOOOO glad when it was finally over!
ReplyDeleteYeah, that was a rough week. However, now we get to do poetry, which reads very fast. Personally, I've skipped over some of the longer stuff so I won't destroy my brain. T.S. Elliot needs to get his point across with less words.
ReplyDeleteI was feeling your pain during Red Badge of Courage week. Between the reading, the activities, my 3 other classes, my son's basketball games, family, life obligations in general.....well like you said, frustrating but over! Of course, I think it might have given me a few more gray hairs! Oh, I completely have to agree with KCarter on the T.S. Elliot stuff, I just wanted to say to him, "hey, spit it out already!"
